Editor, Maternity Cover - City of London
Our client is a highly innovative and creative professional organisation who provide insight and analysis on human behaviour to educate and inspire brands and agencies across the world. We are looking for an experienced Editor to join their team based in London on a maternity cover contract.

Working closely with the Head of Projects and Strategy Director, the Editor will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning strategy across all consumer research reports for the Library Team, ensuring the team deliver content on time and to client requirements. Alongside editing and commissioning, you will develop new content formats, research and write trend reports, and interview some of the smartest minds from around the world.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, approachable Editor – excited about meeting new people and building relationships with experts and writers across the world. Heading up the Library Team you will be a natural mentor and motivator, with a strong ability to educate and coach the team effectively. With strong experience of working within a publishing environment, you will be super organised, excellent at managing deadlines and commissioning budgets. Excellent communication skills are a must, as well as a real talent for editing copy into articulate prose

Commercially and culturally aware, you will have a true appreciation for a broad range of industries and an enthusiasm for publishing a varied range of trend reports. Any knowledge of the trends and insight sector would be a significant advantage.
