Roles:    Responsible for maintaining piling rigs and equipment used by the company to achieve its production targets.

For undertaking development work on new or existing equipment to enable the company to perform its productions targets.
    
Responsible to:    Plant Manager

Responsible for the following specific tasks:

1.    Maintain plant and equipment owned by our client to ensure its production targets are achieved.
   
2.    All repairs or ongoing maintenance must be conducted within the manufacturers specifications or recommendations / schedules.
   
3.    Strip down and repair or maintain plant and equipment whilst observing all necessary Health Safety procedures applicable to the item(s) in question.
   
4.    Whilst undertaking work duties referral to plant and equipment manuals / drawings etc should be observed to ensure compliance with manufacturers specifications etc.
   
5.    Observe all Health Safety regulations whilst working in the distribution yard, workshop or when on a site visit. And comply with any instructions given by the Plant Manager or Health Safety Manager in this area.
   
6.    As and when necessary undertake site visits to perform maintenance or repair operations, as requested by the Plant Manager. As and when necessary this will include overnight stays to ensure completion of work identified.
   
7.    Keep company van clean and tidy and as and when necessary wash it down. Ensure it complies with the service schedule supplied by the manufacturer and comply with the policies and procedures covering company vehicles.
   
8.    Complete Breakdown Sheets to identify what work has been completed so time can be properly allocated to each contract.
   
9.    Keep the Plant Manager informed of consumables used and ensure adequate stock is maintained to be able to perform work duties. As part of the maintenance or repair work identify any specialist parts or equipment necessary to perform duties.
   
10.    Complete both Inbound Outbound rig inspection sheets to identify both maintenance and repair requirements for the item(s) in question. Report any major issues immediately to the Plant Manager.
   
11.    Complete both 250 500 hour inspection sheets to identify both maintenance and repair requirements for the item(s) in question. Report any major issues immediately to the Plant Manager.
   
12.    Ensure ongoing familiarity and understanding of knowledge in the areas of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical Circuits and Health Safety
  

 

Complete both “Inbound” “Outbound” rig inspection sheets to identify both maintenance and repair requirements for the item(s) in question. Report any major issues immediately to the Plant Manager.

 

Complete both “250” “500” hour inspection sheets to identify both maintenance and repair requirements for the item(s) in question. Report any major issues immediately to the Plant Manager.

 

Ensure ongoing familiarity and understanding of knowledge in the areas of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical Circuits and Health Safety
